Special achievements in work:
- Developed and executed the M&E tool for monitoring/evaluation of 1500 farmers’ climate change adaptable enterprises such as the adoption of adaptable crop varieties, livestock feeds, machinery and soil, and water management technologies.
- Developed 5 business value chain models (2 crops and 3 livestock) for 5 CBOs with a membership of 200 farmers each. 2 business models received funding from a partner organization after my lobbying. They each managed to buy feed mixers and pest control small machines.
- Established the project business Train–the–Trainer model, which has created job opportunities for 80 youths working as community trainers in the business plan, marketing, and financial literacy topics.
- Supported training of 3000 farmers in Bungoma and 3000 farmers in Nyandarua County on Business model design, organization, development, grant development, and execution.
- Promoted the adoption of climate change crop and livestock adaptation practices to over 2000 farmers with the support of a project climate-smart agriculture expert.
- Supported the development of a learning and knowledge exchange platform for students on internship/attachment.
- Successfully represented the department head in stakeholder meetings focusing on social economic empowerment.
